A Standing Order is an order for each issue of the INDEX discounted at 30% of the list price of $99.95. Standing order status is achieved after the purchase of four consecutive issues or prepayment of four issues at the discounted price. A Standing order may be terminated at anytime by written notice (fax, email or letter), or by return of the issue unused in its original wrapper within two weeks of its publication date. Publication dates are March 1st (1Q), June 1st (2Q), September 1st (3Q) and December 1st (4Q). A shipping and handling fee ($5 for Canada, $10 for US) is applicable per postal code on each invoice.

The INDEX, a quarterly publication since 1987, is the leading authority on explorers, producers, pipelines, refineries, agents and petrochemical plants of western Canada. The listed coverage is up to 5 times greater than yearly print directories (as well as web directories that claim daily updates). If in doubt, compare sample pages to whatever you may be using (even to your own files) – you’ll be amazed! The format is an 8 ½” x 11” booklet less than ½” thick, that for convenience, fit easily in briefcases. The zirloc binding (a plastic comb) conveniently opens flat on consecutive pages or to a single page at any one of the 150 pages.

There are many unique features to the INDEX, the most notable being:

• Companies are listed by their proper registered name, operator or non-operator, and employee count or associate, and
• Employee manned area, district and field offices and plants. Contract operated batteries and plants are not listed, and
• Name changes, mergers and dispositions of the previous quarter showing successors, and current companies with pending transactions.

AND exclusive to the INDEX – the proof of the extent of our research - a tally of the number of new listings, deletions, changes, additions and pending transactions with a total for the current issue.
