The
INDEX offers limited and unique advertising opportunities. Most
publishers focus on revenues derived from advertising. We take
a different approach. Our focus is
accurate and timely content with selected advertising.
Most
publications charge too much for advertising; advertisers are not getting value
for their expenditures. INDEX advertisers always have first right on the same
space in the next issue – no ifs, ands, or buts! A unique feature is our flat
rates. There are no hidden or add-on costs.
Circulation
INDEX
sales vary from 2,100 to 2,400 per quarter from a customer base of
approximately 4,000. Books in current use total some 10,000 with readership
estimated at approximately 50,000 on a factor of 5 users per book. Usage is
substantially higher given the long retention of the INDEX by most companies.
Sales are about equally divided between Explorers and Producers and
Service & Supply companies.
Advertising
Rates
Our
Regular Rates for advertising is about one-third less than the rates of other
publications even though our circulation and usage by explorers and producers
of western Canada is several times larger.
Standing Order (SO) Customer Rates is about one-third the Regular Rates and
offer the best value for your advertising dollar. A SO Customer purchases every
issue of the INDEX with a history of having purchased four consecutive issues.
